Khan's Restaurant

We enjoyed the whole evening from start to finish, the food was sublime - the fish course was the standout for me, but the lamb was a VERY close second. Wine choices were surprising and perfectly paired with the food. Three different English wines, which was a very pleasant change and all excellent. The Californian Pinot Noir was mind blowing and we&rsquo;re ordering a case for home.The staff were knowledgable and very welcoming, even in their partner bar over the road where we saw them later!Music in the restaurant was right up my street too. I don&rsquo;t have any negatives at all. A great night all round.

We stopped here for coffee while waiting for a flight as there aren&#39;t very many options in Newcastle airport. The service was really slow in both serving and clearing tables.
